Immediately broke the plastic clip on the right side that allows you to tighten the pants via the velcro strip. Made a temp repair and went riding, the left clip broke about 2 hours later and I had to spend the rest of the day pulling my pants up every time I got off the bike. Spent an additional $12 to buy some metal d-rings to replace the plastic clips.

I wear a 32×32 jean, bought the medium, fits great. It says it isnt an overpant but Ive been wearing track pants under them, so maybe I could get away with a smaller size if I was to go commando in them. The knee pads are a bit big making it tight there but not bad. I commute 40 mins to work, dizzle /fog no leak throughs(no downpours yet); tempetures ranging from 4 in the morning to 20 degees C in the afternoon, plenty warm and air tight. I like the grip in the seat of the pants, I have another pair of hwk and wish they had it. Zippers are the big ones easy to work, material seems tough, only had them for around 3 weeks though. I bought these and the hwk at the same time, still not sure which pair I like more maybe time.will tell. If your debating on getting these…dont, there A1…especially for cooler weather.

These pants are meant to be waterproof but after a few minutes of heavy rain, the water gets in.
The pants are comfortable enough except for the knee pads. They seem very hard and pressure on the knees becomes uncomfortable after an hour or so riding. However, even though waterproof, the pants don’t cause overheating, even on hot rides.
I love that the bottom leg zip opens wide enough to pull up over MX boots. The zip is water protected by a folding internal flap.
The supplier provides an excellent sizing chart. I was able to order the exact fit.
The pants have a rugged appearance and the contrasting stitching looks great.
For added comfort, I recommend lightweight knee-length shorts under.

Getting ready for a fall ride up to the Ga/NC mountains. I’m from South Florida, so I’m looking for something warmer than jeans to wear, but also wanted good ventilation when things warm up. These appeared to do the job, and then I read a bunch of good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. The price is pretty darn good, too. So they fit “right”. I’m 5’10, 210lbs, 57 years old but still semi-athletic body with an extra layer on top. I ordered the XL Short, and this is the first pair of riding pant that actually look nice (without an extra 6″ of pants all bunched up on top of my feet). They fit well, and lots of velcro to tighten/loosen where you need to. They were warm in just a few minutes walking around the house in 75 degree AC, but not making me sweat. (All vents closed). They feel waterproof, they have the rubberized zippers (good), and I will update after my trip in 2 weeks so I can give a riding report update, but so far, I’m impressed. The hip padding is thin, but that’s fine, the pants are comfortable, and it is better than nothing. The knee pads are located in the right place too!!!! (went with the SHORT length). I’m giving it 5 stars now, and if I get soaked I’ll lower the score… it always rains in FL, so I’ll be testing that out soon enough. Where do I begin?
First, I don’t typically write reviews mostly because I do not order items online that often. This product is one of those reasons why. I read many reviews before ordering these riding pants and was really confident that I was going to be satisfied with my purchase once I received them.
Well, I got them today and they were shipped in a timely fashion; that was a good sign. Upon opening the package and looking at the material and the workmanship of the product I was extremely impressed for the price I paid for these pants. Compared to other pants that I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for they seemed to be of similar quality. So that was another good sign.
Next, I inspected the knee snd hip protection and found that to be good, not great but also not bad. I would say it lands somewhere right in the middle of being satisfactory while also being better than some of the sponge-like pad inserts that tend to come with low priced riding gear. Again, for the price I was pleasantly surprised. Hopeful, these were going to be the low priced pants that I was glad I had purchased without first seeing, feeling, inspecting and trying them on for size before buying and then hoping for the best.
Then comes the moment of truth, how
will they fit???
Before I answer that, let me state that I am 6’5” tall and 210 lbs. it’s difficult for me to find pants in my size most of the time because I have a 36” inseam and a 33” waist. More often than not it’s very hard to find that size combination so I usually go to a real brick and mortar store where I tend to try on many different sizes to find that perfect fit rather than purchasing online. I hate having to send things back multiple times and paying extra shipping costs in the process just to end up with a product that I usually just accept to be tolerable rather than something that truly fits me.
When I first put these pants on I immediately felt like I was going to love them because they felt like they were really well constructed and the length was perfect. The leg openings also looked like they would accommodate my riding boots while not being overly tight like most of my other more expensive riding pants tend to be. But after getting them pulled up around my waste I very quickly realized that these pants were not going to be the perfect pants I had hoped for. They are definitely made for someone who has a true waist size, not belly waist size of 42” to 44”. The sizing chart says to not pay attention to your true waist sizing but to order based on your navel waist and true inseam measurement. I did that and got a measurement of just around 40” so I figured with jeans and a base layer of clothing that these would fit perfect. That is not the case. Even by using the Velcro straps on the waist to adjust them to a smaller size they are still way to big in the thighs, waist and around my ‘navel waist’. So, based on having to pay $10 for return shipping and taking another chance on the next size not fitting as well, I’m going to put these pants in my closet to remind me why I do not order things online.
I would have like to have given these pants and this seller 5 stars on this review but because these pants are just going to serve as another constant reminder as to why I don’t like to purchase clothing online. I am giving them a 1 star rating because they are a total waste of my money and a useless pair of pants that I will eventually get rid after becoming tired of moving them around each time I reach for the more expensive pants that do fit me as they should.
Once again, I am reminded that more often than not, I get what I pay for when purchasing products online without actually seeing and trying things on before paying with my hard earned cash. I hope this review at least helps someone else when they look at these pants and decide to purchase them before first trying them on for actual fitment. They do seem to be of good quality and workmanship but I’ll never know for sure if they are because I will unfortunately never get to put them to the test.
In closing…LESSON LEARNED.
