Having bought (and returned) too many riding jeans to count, I decided to try Klim. Surprise, it fits. I used to race bicycles cross country and have legs like tree trunks especially my calves. I cannot get my calves into most riding jeans but these fit like real jeans.

Would have given it 5 stars but the adjustments for the knee pads are minimal. Big difference in pads. Other ‘CE’ jeans I own have foam rubber pads; these are thinner, harder and appear to be better at abrasion resistance than soft form rubber. I believe theses are real CE pads like my riding jackets instead of phony pads with a CE marking.

These pants have great reviews and after wearing it I can see why people think so highly of them. First off, there’s protection for knees, hip, and tailbone. Second, the fabric itself seems extremely durable and there is an inner lining so your skin doesn’t stick to the outside denim. Lastly, these are a bit on the heavier side, but that is the trade off for having protection.

Now, the only gripe I have about these wonderful pants is sizing. I really wish they had more sizes available, specifically the inseam. I’m a 32W x 30L on my regular jeans and the fit is perfect around the hips and thighs but the jeans are too damn long and baggy at the bottom. I’m 5’8 190 LB for perspective. I’m looking into getting it tapered and hemmed but I wouldn’t trust these jeans with a regular tailor due to the complex nature of it. Besides that, the jeans are seriously great and if you have the opportunity to try them on before you buy make sure you get the right size. I knew it was going to be long because Klim has a sizing chart on their website that displays the respective inseam with the width. However, it was still longer and baggier than expected.

I love these! I sometimes wear them around the house; armor and all.

I can’t feel the hip armor at all; the tailbone pad only in certain positions but it’s not uncomfortable, I just realize it’s there for a second and forget about it again.

The knee armor isn’t unobtrusive. I have small, bony knees. The pads print slightly with my knees, but it probably can only be noticed by me. I would like the armor to wrap a little more, but it can be replaced!

Also, the knees get hot on very warm summer days. I plan to try the new version of the armor. Still the fact that armor is included is pretty sweet.

All-in-all these pants are my go-to for riding in decent weather! I love them so much I got another pair! (let’s be honest; that says something considering the price).

I wear 34×30. Pants are long AF and kinda loose. At the end of the day there good looking and definitely will save your @$$

I got these delivered today. A tad bit expensive,, but the fit is excellent, just like a pair of worn-in Levi’s. I’m 6ft 200lbs and I wear size 34 x 34 Levi’s so I ordered the 34 tall because I don’t like my pants pulling up high when I sit on the bike. I had ordered the K51 a couple months back but did not like the baggy fit, my wife said I looked like a pirate. I returned those and realized they have K52 straight leg. These are what I have been looking for in riding jeans. Wish I had these last week— took a slight fall in a turn and skinned my knee— was wearing regular light weight jeans no knee pads.. if I had these then I know I would not have had that issue. Looks like a great product. Now I will be wearing All my gear,, All the time.

The first thing I noticed when I took this product out of the bag was how soft it was. When I put it on, the fit felt like I had already broken it in. A very comfortable motorcycle jeans with the proven quality and durability of Klim. You get the YKK zippers and D30 in the hips and knees (tailbone protection too!) that you can barely feel, especially as they warm up and conform to your body. The pads never felt like they shifted too dramatically while moving around. There is some slight shifting but I’ve dropped down on my knees and on my hips a couple times to test and felt that the pads stayed in place and provided the right protection.
They don’t feel overly heavy for motorcycle jeans and the mobility is amazing given how protective they are. I ordered my usual size 34 and the fit was good, a little roomy but nothing a belt can’t tighten up. The length (i’m 5’10) for a size 34 was spot on. I wasn’t thrilled about the exorbitant price for these jeans but after putting them on I understand where the money was spent and absolutely love these things.
Did I mention that NO ONE will know they’re motorcycle jeans? They look exactly like a pair of straight leg Levi’s without that baggy look. If you are skeptical because of the price point, don’t be. Well worth the cost to look normal while riding but also have excellent protection.

These riding jeans feel great straight out the box. They are extremely comfortable I enjoy the loose fit and the extra length is nice, pant leg doesn’t ride up and expose lower leg area when In riding position. The knee protection is adjustable to ensure the protection is in the proper location while riding. The hip and tailbone protection is comfortable I am able to wear these jeans with all its protection in place while at work I would recommend removing the knee pads unless like me your job requires you to use knee pads. The true test of how good they really are has yet to occur let’s hope I don’t have to find out how well they hold up to asphalt. The price is high, but if they perform when truly needed they will be well worth the price tag.

Unfortunately I will need another pair. First weekend of use I hit loose gravel in a curve and went down. Slid across road, gravel, and dirt and hit a road sign after coming off the bike. The pants took care of me but did suffer some damage when the key ring in my pocket hit the sign post. Happy to buy another pair. Very comfortable and I like the look.
