    In the past 7yrs in law enforcement I have tried many boots. These boots here are by far the best. They are very lightweight which is very important for me. These boots feel like sneakers. The only dislikes which are very minor would be no side zip and not waterproof. Other than that no complaints at all, I highly recommend if you’re tired of heavy patrol boots.

    So I bought these for my job, I do security work. I’ve worn many before of other brands as I am prior military. None that I have worn have been as uncomfortable as cheap feeling as these. I don’t do much but stand around all day. And yet having only used them for about two weeks, they are already starting to deteriorate. The cushioning inside feels almost non existent. The laces are already tearing as well. Would not recommend at all. Not for this price. Grab some under Armour or Nike.

    These are pretty epic. Super comfy, even in “sport mode” (current configuration, laced up tightly), and feel like the average pair of tennis shoes/cross trainers. The light weight is really surprising, and they breathe pretty well (the side vents are functional). I’m picky about my feet and their comfort, these fit like a EE of the same size in other brands (ie. Danner Tachyon, but these are even lighter weight than the Danners). These give decent support, all the way around, and are great for long shifts of walking or standing on concrete floors. I ran the stress fire course in them last week, they were more than stellar for sprinting/run-and-gun. Honestly, I don’t even notice wearing these, so they’re epic for me as a duty boot (gotta have at least 6″ upper height, per company policy).

    They aren’t hard-toed or steel shanked, they’re closer to basketball or running shoes, and I’d recommend them for law enforcement. If you’re a door breacher – maybe get something more substantial.

    I like the fit a feel of these though I ended up sending them back and kept a pair of the under armour boots I ordered instead. The Oakley boots have the appearance of sneakers when your pants are over the tops, which I wasn’t a fan of. They also seemed less comfortable than my UA boots I ordered, but were a close second. They also had little to no ankle support. It was these reasons I did not keep them, but if I ever needed lightweight sneaker style boots I would purchase these.

    I got these boots for my husband that works on his feet all day. He absolutely loves them and have held up really well in harsh working conditions so far. He is on month two with them.
