The protective inserts set too low below the knee area. I’m going to keep them but I’m going to get them modified at my own expense. The material is thin and probably won’t offer much protection when needed. They fit correctly and look good though.

Quality is not bad. Just not true to size. I hope I don’t have ti write a review on how protected I am. That means I would have to fall off of my bike

Only reason not 5 stars is it is not my typical style. Other than that, great fabric and extremely comfortable, pads sat well and movement was easy with it without pads in.

Zippers not smooth and seemed flimsy. Kevlar at the knees, not in the buttocks or out thigh area…where you would actually slide. I want my knees padded, my road rash risk is elsewhere. Also main waist closure button felt like a small bottle cap. I could only imagine what my other clothes in the washer would look like after a 45 minute battle with that. I returned these.

I’m 5’8 170 and ordered a 32 reg which is my normal size. They were close and would have possibly shrink after drying but the knee pads were a bit too low for my liking so I returned them. Got them quickly and they were pretty nice looking and well designed and made so I reordered the upgraded version with Kevlar in seat, the less expensive ones don’t have, and “summer pads” . Unfortunately they won’t arrive in time for a trip I have planned, hoping they will be worth the wait.
