The Legendary Flying Fortress pays homage to the fearless pilots and crew during World War II. This A-2 leather flight jacket is designed in a soft cowhide leather specifically tanned and finished to accentuate a worn in look. Legendary USA then uses an exclusive proprietary antiquing method designed to further bring out the vintaged look in the leather. No two jackets are the same.The end result resembles a flight jacket that has been battle worn and ready for the next mission. Also features a detailed liner depicting the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber that was instrumental in the bombing campaigns over Germany’s industrial and military targets during WWII.
This jacket is Union Made in USA at the factory currently contracted by the US Dept. of Defense.
