During WWII, a new, practical jacket was designed for the American tank crews in Europe. The army tanker jacket became popular with Air Force pilots because it was lightweight but offered three season warmth due to the dark olive wool blend blanket lining. This WWII tanker jacket style has recently been redesigned for a more correct shoulder fit. In WWII British Khaki color.
