First off, a disclaimer which is I just bought this a few weeks ago and while I haven’t had the chance to wear them while riding. Wearing this around my place and town a bit though, the jean feels high quality and it looks like a regular pair of jeans even with armor in. They are a little baggy at the bottom for my style these days but its not ridiculous. I saw a few reviews saying the knee pads are too low – they actually have a pretty ingenious insert system where there’s 5 velcro spots in the knee pad insert so you can get it as high or low as you’d like. When I just put them into the first slot, they are like chin guards. I felt like I could play soccer with them on. But when I went up to the highest slot, they are perfect. When I sit down, they’re exactly where I want them to be and they feel fine walking around too. I would have liked the thigh pads to be a touch higher but its fine. The jean feels quality, hopefully I never have to find out just how quality. I listed a few gripes, but as its a lot more reasonably priced then most other riding jeans I feel like its fair. Can’t wait to start riding with them on in a week or two – as long as there’s no random issues that come up (button popping off or something), I’d recommend them and buy these again.

    Unexpected quality and fit!!!
If you’re reading this you already know how bloody difficult it is to find a pair of motorcycle pants that don’t look ridiculous and fit correctly…AND…offer true slide protection. Well, I took the Amazon bait and pulled the trigger on these Scorpion EXO denims, and I’m really impressed – and I do not impress easily at all.

    The skinny:
I’m a 200-ish #, 5’11, 35×36 American jeans size. I ordered the 36 because I’m adding D3o armor to these, and it was suggested to go a size up, which is good advice. The fit is SPOT ON, which I was honestly not expecting. I double checked to see if I got the size I ordered, and I had. Another surprise is that these are NOT sewn in the CCP, which makes me more impressed. They’re sewn up in Pakistan, and the Pakistanis KNOW hot to make garments correctly (yeah China, I’m looking at you and your inability to use a tape measure). My official wardrobe supervisor (wy lovely wife) says, and I’ll quote “nice ***….I mean, those fit you well!”. So I’ll take that as a biased win.

The denim is heavy and deep blue. I’m pretnear sure I’ll have some swassy summer rides in these, but it beats wearing multicolored “ski pants”. They do look, fit, and feel like any other standard men’s jean pant. Straight legged and long (which is important ya know). I’d guess at least 36″. Button and zipper are solid and the stitching looks to be of top quality (time will tell). The Kevlar (and it does list on the tag “Dupont kevlar”) is a liner that covers from waist to shin in front, and you’re entire rear down the the back of the knee. There’s an additional liner material that completes the rest of the inside spaces. Personally I could do without that, but it’s whatever. Some folks have commented about the knee pads being too low, and yes, when standing they are a bit displaced. But once you bend your knees to sit they orient themselves nicely and is likely the expected position if you become an official pavement inspector. Hips are in a proper location as well.

    The dirt:
I have questions about the pocket for the armor. Don’t misunderstand me, the pockets are well placed and hold the Kilm D3o armor I have, but there’s these odd placementsnof multiple Velcro patches that confounded me. Why? What’s the reason behind this? Maybe someone in Amazonia can fill me in on these?

So there. Coffee has done it job, and y’all read my jabbering. Enjoy, and keep the rubber on the road.

    TL/DR:
nice pants, fit well, not made in China.

Good jeans but its is to long

  4. Chris

Nice fit and I did order one size up for another pair of pants inside of them for the cold morning rides. Should of came with knee pads for the price. It took 3 months to get.

  5. psiEnergos

Two things stood out for me about this product; a) it was built for guys that no longer had their teenage waistlines and b) had rises appropriate for a 33 inseam (something I’ve found simultaneously rare and weird in motorcycle pants shopping). So these fit well (with or without with the armor installed). The denim is flexible, so you don’t feel like you have to wash them 5x in order to straddle your bike without pinching the family fruits! Another plus is that the leg is wide enough to accommodate most riding boots.

The overall riding experience is pleasant as far as comfort goes (sorry no crash tests here ๐Ÿ˜€ ). Debris protection is ‘good’ (meaning from big bugs, small rocks, the thick denim works). Just don’t forget to order the armor when you buy these!

Arrived with a belt loop half off. These are some pretty comfy jeans except in the waist true to size but the waist was very tight. I had to return these and was charged to use u p s.. six dollars. Wanted to keep them but arriving damaged i was worried about lasting quality even though they were packaged well I shouldn’t have to repair them for 130 buckaroos. Minimal skid protection however they still offer more protection than standard jeans. Look good but the pockets are smaller than expected. You’ll need a hip bag or pack to carry your phone and what not still.

  7. Dave

Knee pads fit just fine if you use the Velcro properly. Decently thick and quality seems good. Size 34โ€ waist fits as it should. Length is a little too short. They look dorky when you have your feet on the foot pegs. I wish the Kevlar went all the way to the ankle. Pockets are good and of proper size. Armor easy to put in/out. And no they donโ€™t look as good as regular jeans.

  8. Marco Jimeno

el corte es baggy, como de los 90’s y no traen protecciones.

  9. Brandon Brown

They fit just right. I had another pair when I was heavier that’s lasted several years. I’m thinking about buying them again to have another pair that’s just my size.

  10. JustSomeGuy

A bit too tight for me at waist and around my man bits. I wear a 36 on everything else. A 38 would probably have been what I need. I will exchange. Doesn’t come with armor. Heay duty jean material. All else seems acceptable.
