…if it’s a little “Billy-Bob”! (no disrespect to you Billy-Bob…).
It’s flannel, *and* Purple (one of my two favorite colors).
Even as a vine reviewer that gets this item free (but pays income tax on it) in exchange for an honest review, I hesitated ordering this.
Another reviewer said his girlfriend thought it was a little “too country”, hence my “Billy-Bob” reference.
I thought the same thing when I looked at it and it was my reason for hesitating to order.
In the colder months, it’s not uncommon for me to wear a long sleeve T-shirt with a short sleeve shirt over that; this seemed like a fun alternative.
On the product page, this is described as “Lightweight Flannel”.
I put this on my kitchen scale, before doing anything else with it; it weighs 5.6 ounces, so, yeah, I’d say it’s light weight.
I ordered the size Medium for my 5’9″ 162 pound body.
The size chart showed the chest for a size medium to be 42-44; I’m a 41/42.
I laid this flat and smoothed it out and measured….:
At the armpits the shirt I received measures 21 1/2″ from side to side (so total of 43″ around at the chest).
At the bottom hem, mine measures 21″ (so 42″ around).
With it buttoned, from the top button at the front of the neck, down to the bottom hem, mine measures
27 1/2″ “tall”.
This fits me like a medium should; not tight, not loose, with just a little bit of extra room.
The laundering instructions on the product page just say “machine wash”.
Highlights from the instructions on the garment:
Warm wash 30c maximum (86f), so “warm” Do Not Tumble Dry….(hate that).
There is an extra button attached to the care label.
The stitching, seams, buttons and fabric all appear to be well done.
The color purple in this shirt, is what I would call a “true” purple; not, for example, “berry” posing as purple, though in person, it is not as vivid/bright as the photos on the product page.
Just missed laundry day. I’ll follow the care instructions and if there is any undesirable outcome, I’ll update this review with that info.

I purchased this shirt to wear to an event and to say the least it felt like a photo shoot. The fit seemed tailor made. It was very lightweight but at the same time the quality was amazing. I got many compliments so it was well worth the price. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d have to give it a 12.
