These are really good. Fit well and sit over the waste. Great construction, both material and stitching, and the armor does not interfere with riding position or free movement off the bike. I had purchased less expensive jeans in the past but always unhappy about something. These were great out the box so you get what you pay for. The leg feels longer than my usual size despite what they say on the label but not enough to worry about and just covers my boot well. The good news is they do come in variable leg length versus others that do not. Highly recommended.

I like these pants; they are excellent jeans and fit well. I chose the same size as my regular jeans, and I feel an extra layer of protection when wearing these pants on rides. Although they are not cheap, I believe they are worth the money.
One observation I have is that during rides, the constant friction between your knees and the knee pads can cause some discomfort and possibly lead to abrasions on your knees. I recommend using a knee bandage to mitigate this discomfort, especially during long rides.

Vey expensive but I don’t know how much the material cost to make these? I did wear them all dat today and they are comfortable, they passed the all day test forsure. I wear a 36×32 normally but had to return and get 34×32. I may of been able to get a 33×32 and that’s crazy, haven’t worn that size for years. Order appropriately or have to deal with returns bu pretty easy to do. If not for sizing thing and price definitely a 5 star

Incredible product! Very true to size and exactly as presented. You would never know these are CE AAA rated motorcycle pants just by looking at them from the outside. They’re so comfortable. You can sit in them all day, yet still look good in the pub after work, and ride home with protection.

Great quality, great fit, correct size, perfect style for my husband to ride his bike, comfortable and safe! I will definitely be making more purchases again, including at the request of my husband, who really liked these pants!!

Very nice looking and comfy, just like a regular pair of jeans. They are heavy, however, as the synthetic fiber woven in is very dense. Confusingly, the waist sizes are NOT in inches, the pair I received actually measuring 38-1/2″ and stretching to 42½ for size 36, so you must look at their website and convert from centimeters for the real sizes. Doubled belt loops, also doubled up at sides and back (see photo) should keep a belt from ripping out and letting the pants slide down in a fall. Well placed CE level 1 perforated knee and hip pads already in place. Great product, but I hope I never test the AAA rating.

I’ve been trying to find a good pair of motorcycle pants for quite some time. Clothes rarely fit me off the shelf, and protective moto-pants are no exception. I was looking for single layer jeans with a AAA rating, when I ran into John Doe’s line. They check all the boxes when it comes to features!
Fit – The Taylor pants fit excellent, and that’s coming from a guy that rarely says that about any pants. I was planning on ditching the hip armor to have a better fit in the waist area, but there was absolutely no need. They fit great with all the armor.
Material – These are very similar in feel, to my Duluth Ballroom Double Flex jeans. They are truly single layer, and NOT thick. They have some stretch to them. The color wash looks like normal jeans. Alot of moto pants try to look like jeans but do horribly…this is not the case with John Doe. They fit, feel, and look like a high end pair of jeans.
Armor – The knee pads have a unique positioning design. The area from the mid-shin to just pass the knee have a pocket and there is velcro on the knee pads, allowing you to perfectly position them relative to your where your knees fit in the pants. This is such a great improvement to the “one size fits all” approach you get from most other moto-pants out there, where your knee pads are actually shin guards.
I took a 40 minute ride with them today and I couldn’t have been more comfortable! That along with the peace of mind knowing that I have some protection in case of a spill.

Pants that are beyond my expectations. Soft, comfortable, great fit, great quality and the water just runs right off! Cannot believe I would ever say that a pir of jeans could be worth 250.00, but I’m telling you this is the case.
