Very heavy, sturdy boots. Definitely made for motorcycle riding. Unfortunately, I was looking for a fashion boot. I like the looks, but not made for what I need. These also seem to run slightly large. The leather was very heavy and stiff, so not comfortable to walk in (probably would be better when broken in). Probably great for a motorcycle rider.

Finally found a good, solid, thick leather boot from Harley that’s well constructed. Seems the newer boots these last years have wimped out on quality. This pair feels like they are going to last more than a riding season. Fits great, they are a little stiff at first but wearing in nicely. Comfy walking and I feel will last a long time. Love the zippered back and inside zip. easy on, easy off. Leather quality is outstanding. Good tall boot!

The calf fit isn’t big enough for 18″ calves and even my tall my daughter in law can’t wear them even with the back unzipped. They are beautiful though, so I’m having them altered.

I bought these boots for riding on the back of a Harley. They seem well made so far and they’re very sturdy. With that though, comes a bit of stiffness. I’m hoping I can break them in but I’m sure it’ll take a while since I exclusively wear them for riding….in Ohio. They fit as expected in the size department. I ordered an 8.5 and they’re just right. The only thing I’m not sure I like (which might not be a big deal to some) is the fact that the zipper pulls jingle every time you move. I’m considering taking them all off. (There are two on each boot.) Other than that, I don’t regret buying them.

I love the look and feel of these boots right out of the box. They came well protected and nicely packaged. The leather is thick and silky to the touch and the bottom of the boots were fantastic with a lot of good grip. I really like the expanding back zipper to help people with larger calves and to allow adjustment for different thickness of pant leg. The insole was wonderful and the boots felt great to stand in. The toe rounded nicely around my foot, offering room when standing.

They were horribly uncomfortable for me to walk in. The leather was thick and didn’t have much give. It buckled in at the ankle, leaving pressure points and sores on my ankle bones. After about 20 minutes of wearing them, I also started loosing circulation in my feet due to the lack of flexibility. I’m about 5’3″ and the boots stopped at my knee. That looks great when standing, but I was unable to sit or go down stairs in them because the thick leather prevented me from bending my knee fully.

I think most of my discomfort was due to the fact that these boots were designed for someone taller. Other reviewers mentioned a break-in period before the boots became comfortable and conformed to their foot and calf shape. I have no doubt they would be extremely comfortable on a taller person after a break-in period. The thick leather would also offer great protection when riding a motorcycle, and they feel and look like they would last a long time. I was very sad they didn’t work for me.

I got these boots for work (mostly office, a little bit of field work) and my long commute on public transit which includes a lot of walking. At this point, I’ve worn them for the whole month of January in slush, snow, and ice. The traction is great, and they have withstood wet conditions well, although I understand they are not waterproof. They are not as comfortable as my Doc Martens, but comfortable enough to wear all day and walk a lot. If you tend to get cold feet like me, plan for an extra insole or thick socks, as these boots don’t keep your feet particularly warm. I love the design, the buckles, zippers, and the hint of red around the back zipper! As for sizing, my normal women’s size 11 fit perfectly with these boots. I am 5’11” with long legs, and in size 11, the boots come up to about 2 inches under my kneecap. The shaft is wide for me (I can fit three fingers between my calf and the boot), but if you have big calves, you can open the back zipper to increase the width. The two things I wish were different are the insulation (see cold feet comment) and the type of leather (prefer the shiny kind over matte). Otherwise, great value for the price!
Update January 2023: I still love these boots! They are very comfortable and keep my feet and legs warm and dry in winter weather.

Love these boots. They fit true to size and are very well made! They are definitely made for taller women as they come right up to my knees and Iā€™m 5ā€™ 9ā€. It took wearing them a few days to break them in. The leather is thick so they are a little stiff at first, but comfortable after worn a few times. I definitely recommend these boots!!
