I like the look of these boots and the shiny finish but I question the protection. The leather is not thick like most motorcycle boots and they have stretched a bit. They are very comfortable and I like height of the boot. I like laces so I can make them fit snug around my ankles and shins . Sizing is 1/2 bigger than your usual size (if you wear a 9 order an 8.5). I might get something else for riding and wear these as casual fashion boots.
