Roar to the Shore in Wildwood was cancelled 2 years ago by the City of Wildwood because of the problems the promoters had from 2007 to 2020 after the Harley Owners Group had pulled out after 13 years of a great time by all. The Wildwood area and surrounding towns offer some interesting rides, but the premise of a motorcycle rally in Wildwood will probably never happen again.
From 1993 to 2006, the Harley Owners Group conducted an event that drew riders from all over the country. They kept the rally fresh every year with unique rides in the area, events, vendors, specials from the Boardwalk, all with the blessing of the Wildwood City Council. The main feature was the Boardwalk Parade, which started in 1993 and by 1997, became a ride that ventured through Wildwood & other towns offshore, having a total mileage of 26 miles.
Wildwood is still a great destination and place to spend time with family and fellow riders.
